Swire Group to attend international consumer goods expo in Hainan

World-renowned conglomerate Swire Group is set to attend the first China International Consumer Products Expo, which will take place from May 7 to 10 in Haikou, according to Zhang Zhuoping, chairman of John Swire and Sons China.

The expo, which aims to promote the development of the modern service industry in Hainan and the construction of an international tourism consumption center, will be hosted at Haikou International Convention and Exhibition Center.

According to Zhang, Swire Group pays close attention to the policy measures being produced by Hainan. Against the background of the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port, Swire Group has full confidence in the first China International Consumer Products Expo to be held there. The company will send a delegation to participate in the fair and join in matchmaking events, offering the global high-quality resources of Swire Group's related businesses and its future investment directions. Swire Properties will also send representatives to explore cooperation opportunities.
