At the Haikou's Sky Mountain, a 'time tunnel' has opened, taking visitors back to discover how the city looked a hundred years ago.
The "Nianhua • Haikou City Walk" themed photography exhibition features over a hundred old photos showcasing the stark beauty of Haikou City. These historic images capture the architectural styles and street scenes of Haikou in a time gone by, showing Haikou's gradual development from a small town to a world-class city. Each of these photos is like a microcosm of the Hainan Free Trade Port, allowing visitors to catch a glimpse not only of the city’s history and residents, but the people and places that laid the foundation of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
The photo exhibition began on January 26, 2025, and will continue through the end of March.
