Drivers can reserve ferry tickets via official channels such as the “Qiongzhou Strait Ferry Butler” (琼州海峡轮渡管家), which easily allows foreign passport holders to purchase tickets (system in Chinese), the “Xuwen Port” (徐闻港) WeChat public accounts, or the “Xuwen Port Ticket Booking Platform” (徐闻港购票平台) mini program. NEVs boarding the ferries “Green Source I” (绿源一号) and “Green Source II” (绿源二号) can also access a convenient “professional parking assistance” service, where staff will park vehicles on board after drivers deliver them to the port.

To streamline ticketing, the ports have introduced a ticket waitlist feature. Drivers unable to book a ticket can apply for a waitlist through the system. Upon payment, the system will match tickets to available voyages. Once matched, drivers will receive a notification confirming their waitlist ticket purchase.

Authorities remind all drivers and passengers to book tickets exclusively through official channels and to provide accurate information for real-name verification. Passengers using false identities will face fines or administrative detention. Avoid relying on scalpers or illegal services for ferry access.
