Recently, a batch of beet seeds for scientific research successfully arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport. Under the supervision of customs authorities, these seedlings were transported directly to the Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City’s high-tech zone in Sanya without undergoing port quarantine sampling. This marks the official implementation of the first case under the Hainan Free Trade Port's new policy allowing "conditional exemption from port quarantine sampling for imported seedlings."
