On Aug. 25, an international cargo route connecting Sanya, Tbilisi, and Milan was launched by Georgian Airways.

The route, operated via a Boeing 767-300 aircraft, has one flight planned for the first month of operation, carrying 52 tons of cargo, mainly made up of cross-border e-commerce products.

The intercontinental Sanya - Tbilisi - Milan cargo route was officially launched Aug 25.

This route not only connects Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, but also extends to Milan, Italy, an important economic center in Europe, providing a more convenient and efficient intercontinental transportation channel for cross-border e-commerce companies. ‘One-stop’ customs clearance services are provided thanks to the Sanya Phoenix International Airport’s international freight supervision warehouse and cross-border e-commerce inspection center, greatly improving cross-border logistics efficiency.
