On July 31, the Zijin (Hainan) International Mining Management Company was officially recognized as a major corporate headquarters located in Hainan Province. This brings the total number of companies headquartered in the Sanya CBD to 32, accounting for around 62% of the total company headquarters in the city. There are eight major corporate headquarters located in industrial parks, accounting for around 67% of all major corporate headquarters in the city and demonstrating the continued expansion of the bulk commodity and cross-border mining industry headquarters cluster in the Hainan Free Trade Port.

Zijin Hainan International is the core operating platform of the Zijin Mining Group, whose parent company ranks 3rd on Forbes' 2026 list of global metals mining companies and 1st on the list of global gold mining companies. After establishing a presence in Hainan, Zijin plans to coordinate the group's core headquarters functions, including cross-border mineral trade, overseas mining project investment, bulk commodity supply chain, global fund settlement, and domestic and international industrial collaborative management. The company will conduct international business in the global mineral resources market, serving a wide variety of cooperative entities in the mining, trade, and finance sectors both domestically and internationally. This recognition as a major enterprise headquarters further solidifies Zijin Mining’s strategic positioning as a global collaborative hub.

Thanks to the continuing optimization of the local business environment, including cross-border finance, talent attraction, and one-stop government services, more and more multinational companies are choosing to establish regional headquarters in the Sanya Central Business District, helping the Hainan Free Trade Port become an important hotspot for bulk commodity and cross-border mining trade.
