Fenjiezhou Island not only provides tourists with marine tourism activities such as diving, sea fishing and motorboats -- but can also provides interactive moments with marine animals such as dolphins, sea lions, and sea turtles.

In addition, there is a sightseeing submarine, a coral area where living coral and coral specimens coexist, a porcelain exhibition area that showcases the South China Sea porcelain culture and many other activities, all allowing visitors to experience the extraordinary ocean.

Nanwan Monkey Island is the only island macaque nature reserve in the world. In addition to nearly 400 species of tropical plants, the island also boasts nearly 100 species of animals, a pristine natural environment and more than 2,500 macaques.

Nanwan Monkey Island is completely swathed in lush, broad-leaved trees and shrubs and throughout the four seasons the fragrant smell of blossom floats in the air. The scenery here is beautiful and the climate very amiable.

Transportation guide: Take an express bus from Haikou to Lingshui, then take the cable car from the Nanwan Peninsula.

Haihua Island, Danzhou

Haihua Island in Danzhou, is a man-made project designed by over 600 renowned architects from across the world, costing a staggering 160 billion yuan. The artificial island has 28 different businesses -- ranging from exhibition centers, to entertainment parks, shopping centers, hotels and spring resorts.

Dazhou Island, Wanning 

Dazhou Island is also known as Bird's Nest Island and it is the only national-level marine nature reserve along the coasts of Hainan.

The ocean waters surrounding the island are crystal clear, providing an underwater visibility of five to 10 meters. This is one of the few protected swiftlet nesting areas in China.
