Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni visits China's Hainan
Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni will visit China's Hainan Province from Dec. 19-21 to conduct a three day long cultural exchange. This is not King Sihamoni's first connection to Hainan. The earliest contact can be traced back to 1971, when his father Majesty Norodom Sihanouk, former king of Cambodia, visited Hainan along with his wife.
In September, when China’s President Xi Jinping met Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet on his visit to China, he described China and Cambodia as staunch friends. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations 65 years ago, China and Cambodia have enjoyed a long history of friendship and harmonious co-prosperity, and look forward to an even brighter future.
