On September 30th, the airshow will be open to the media, then will open to the general public from Oct. 1-6, with professional conferences and forums held from Oct. 1-3.

Over 100 aircraft of all kinds will be on display at the Hainan Airshow, and five or more well known domestic and international flight show teams will participate in the Airshow, which will boast an exhibition area of 55,000 square meters. Over 10 conferences, professional forums, and themed events will be held during the event, which will also include electronic music performances, an evening drone show, and 10 hot air balloon fire shows. Organizers expect crowds of 50,000 to 80,000 spectators to attend, as well as over 3,000 industry professionals.

The Hainan Airshow will focus on "internationalization, branding, commercialization, and consumerism", and cover three activity areas - the Boao Airport, the Boao Forum for Asia International Conference Center, and Dongyu Island. There will be six themed programs: the Air Show, the General Aviation Forum, the Flight Experience, Business, the Music Festivals, and Gourmet Food & Shopping.

The Hainan Airshow & Boao General Aviation Conference is planned to be held once a year going forward, taking the form of an annual airshow + regular airshow exhibitions + aviation-themed activities held in fixed locations.

Tickets to the airshow will go on sale July 5 at 12:00 pm, on the official website, official account, and mini-app ticket sales channels simultaneously. The average daily ticket price is 198 RMB / person, with VIP tickets going for 568 RMB / person. Industry professionals can buy special tickets for 4,680 RMB / person (which include food and accommodation as well as admission to insider-only activities).
