In an interview with the Hainan International Media Center, Michele Geraci (Former Italian Vice Minister of Economy and Finance) unveiled a compelling vision the southern Chinese province as a central hub for global trade and collaboration. Emphasizing the island's unique status as a free trade port and envisioning a symbiotic relationship between Hainan and Italy that leverages their geographical positions to enhance connectivity and trade between Europe and Asia, Geraci proposes establishing a research institute and think tank in Hainan which is dedicated to promoting understanding and cooperation between orient and occident and which both further solidifies Hainan's role as a global economic player and fosters partnerships that promise mutual prosperity.
