40,000 global exhibitors & buyers sign up for 3rd Hainan Expo
Considered China’s only national-level platform to feature high-end consumer products, the third China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE or "Hainan Expo") will be held in Haikou—the capital city of China’s southern Hainan Province—from April 11-15.
As preparations for the much-anticipated event are moving ahead smoothly, close to 40,000 global exhibitors & buyers from China and around the world have signed up for this year’s event, according to the Expo's organizing committee.
An increasing number of overseas exhibitors and buyers—from Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, the Republic of Belarus, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia and more—are planning on showing up for the Expo and, notably, many of them will be taking advantage of Hainan's visa-free policy for travelers from 59 different countries (which resumed on March 15 of this year)
This year's Expo will showcase even more premium brands from around the world, including Germany's Volkswagen Group—one of the world’s top multinational auto corporations and a new face at the event this year—which will participate with their high-end auto models (including Bentley, Lamborghini, Porsche, Ducati). A collection of four bronze animal heads from the Yuanmingyuan Old Summer Palace—brought by Poly Culture Group—will also be on display.
In addition to the 10,000m² main exhibition hall, product debuts, yacht exhibitions, fashion shows and other activities will also take place in a number of other indoor and outdoor venues, including duty-free shopping malls, the sailing base pier and some of the tropical island's seaside beaches.
