The Nanhai Museum
The Nanhai Museum is located between the harbour and fishing village of Qionghai, 9 km from the Boao Forum for Asia. It looks like a "ship" at sea from afar, with beautiful scenery and unique style.
Nanhai Museum is a comprehensive museum and a huge cultural palace. The museum highlights the "maritime elements" and is an important window for understanding the South China Sea. It has 10 exhibition halls with more than 70,000 pieces of various collections, including historical export cultural relics, South China Sea biological specimens, Hainan historical relics, historical ship models, etc., fully displaying the cultural history of the South China Sea, natural ecology, cultural heritage protection, and Economic and trade exchanges and cultural exchanges in the countries surrounding the South China Sea.
