Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni and his entourage visited Sanya, Hainan
Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni is visiting China's Hainan Province from Dec. 19-21 to conduct a three day long cultural exchange.
On December 20, the King and his entourage visited Nanshan Temple and Luhuitou (Deer Looking Back) Scenic Area, and praising the beauty of Sanya and the enthusiasm of the people.
Visiting Luhuitou (Deer Looking Back), the king overlooks Sanya's scenery from a height. At this time, he was introduced to the history of Sanya's development as well as the statue's origin as a symbol of the legend and uniquely romantic culture of the island's Li ethnic group. This not only attracted the king's attention, but also became a point of cultural resonance between the two peoples.
He was full of praise for Sanya's beautiful scenery and hospitality, and said that he liked Sanya very much.
