Sanya Asian Beach Games Exhibition Centre Unveiled
On the morning of Mar. 27, the Sixth Asian Beach Games Sanya 2020 (a.k.a. the Sanya Asian Beach Games) Exhibition Centre was officially unveiled at the Sanya Conifer Resort.
The bidding and preparation process of the Sanya Asian Beach Games was put on display through images, real-life objects, interactive experiences, and audiovisual displays in the nearly 2,000 square meters Exhibition Center as a part of the cultural heritage of the Games. The reveal of the Games logo, slogan, mascot, and official song, the sporting arena construction achievements, and the 200-day countdown were all highlights of the Exhibition Centre cultural promotion activity.
Popular interactive activities inside the Exhibition Centre, including a virtual reality dragon boat, surfing, and beach volleyball game, allowed attendees to get a feel for the excitement of attending the Games and provided plenty of great photo opportunities. Dragon boats, sailboats, and other objects as well as a sporting venue sand table model allowed visitors to gain an understanding of the sports arenas and equipment of the Games through direct observation.
The Sanya Asian Beach Games Exhibition Centre is open to the public from 09:00-17:30 Tuesdays - Sundays.
The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) recently announced that considering the current situation of the novel coronavirus epidemic, the 6th Asian Beach Games, originally scheduled to be held in Sanya, Hainan province from April 2 to 10, 2021, will be postponed.
